Magical mornings

Mornings can be rough, especially when you're peacefully dreaming while the alarm clock destroys this blissful state.
Do you know that feeling? Of course we all know it. For one it's heavier than for the other depending on what type of person you are.
Chances are you already know whether you’re a morning person or a night owl.. and if you don’t ask your loved ones.
Asking my significant other, he would tell I’m definitely a morning person in comparison to him. Already at the first sound of the jingle of the alarm clock, I jump out of bed to start my day, while he is groaning heavily as the alarm sounds, clamping the pillow down over his head.

Yes, I’m definitely a morning person. My "week" mornings look almost every day the same. It's a routine necessary in order not to burden my brain in the morning with thinking what I still have to do but to enjoy the tranquility of what morning offers.

I love the sound – or no sound – of the world waking up. The quietness in which to reflect and plan. For me it is so important to have a peaceful quiet moment, while preparing for the new day, without feeling rushed. I think, the way you spend your morning, gives a definition for the new day. A stressful and rushed morning, where I can not follow my morning routine will totally disrupt the rest of my day and bring my body in imbalance. Yes, and then I can be very grumpy.
What particularly makes me enjoy the mornings so bad is breakfast. The taste of a delicious fresh breakfast. No other meal taste so good as breakfast. If I had to choose one meal of the day, it would definitely be breakfast.
There are people that only grab a coffee just to have that extra 5 minutes of sleep. But I WILL NEVER skip breakfast. I'd rather come late than skipping breakfast. I believe that it is the way to set me off on a happy day.

Whether it's morning, noon or evening. I think we all need to find that magical moment in our everyday life, where we can look forward to.

And what makes your mornings special?
